Swing for a Cause: Join the 9th Annual Kansas AFL-CIO Golf Tournament Classic!

At the Kansas AFL-CIO, we believe that strong communities start with supported youth. That’s why we are thrilled to invite you to our 9th Annual Golf Tournament Classic on September 12, 2026, benefitting the Boys and Girls Clubs of Kansas.Our partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs Kansas Alliance is built on a shared mission: helping working families and ensuring every young person has the opportunity to reach their full potential. By joining us on the green, you aren’t just playing a round of golf—you’re helping children across our state thrive mentally, physically, and emotionally.

Event Details

  • When: September 12, 2026.
  • Time: Registration begins at 7:45 am, followed by a 9:00 am shotgun start.
  • Where: GreatLife Shawnee Country Club, 913 SE 29th St., Topeka, KS 66605.
  • Cost: $125 per person or $500 per four-person team.

The day features a four-person scramble, free driving range access before tee time, and a meal and beverages provided during the awards ceremony. Participants can also compete for prizes in putting contests, longest drive, and closest-to-the-pin.

  • G.O.A.T. Sponsor ($5,000): Includes two foursomes and prominent recognition.
  • Champion Sponsor ($2,500): Includes one foursome and tee signs at contest holes.
  • Corporate Sponsor ($1,500): Includes entry for two players and signage at the Closest-to-Pin hole.
  • Power Cart Beverage Sponsor ($500): Your company name featured on the beverage cart.
  • Hole Sponsor ($300): Your name displayed on a tee sign.
