Find Your 2026 Candidate Questionnaire  

Kansas labor's 2026 candidate questionnaires are coordinated by three Central Labor Councils and the Kansas AFL-CIO state federation. Each body surveys the candidates running for office in its territory. Look up  your district below to find the right survey.  

Topeka Labor Federation  

Northeast and north-central Kansas, anchored in Shawnee, Douglas, and Riley counties.

Tri-County Central Labor Council  

The Kansas City metro on the Kansas side. Johnson, Wyandotte, and Leavenworth counties.

South-central Kansas, anchored in Sedgwick (Wichita) and Reno (Hutchinson) counties.

Shared coverage: Topeka and Tri-County  
A handful of districts sit on the seam between the Topeka Labor Federation and Tri-County CLC territories. Candidates in these districts may hear from both councils.  You should reach out to both of them.

Kansas AFL-CIO  
The state federation runs the questionnaire for every race not assigned to a CLC. 
That includes all statewide offices (Governor, Attorney General, Secretary of State, State Treasurer, Commissioner of Insurance,  State Board of Education), both U.S. Senate seats, all four U.S. House seats, and any Kansas House or Kansas Senate district not listed above.
